JCSA BOARD MEETING

JUNE 2008

1.   Four clubs and the Exec. Vice President were absent.

2.  Membership:    1240 as of June

3.  Treasurers Report:   $4000.00 in bank  plus $2200.00  from the Sub machine Gun Shoot  not calculated in the total.

4.  JCSA needs an up dated membership roster from each club.   Tom T.  will take care of this for the RVSC.  

5.  Exec. Vice-Presidents report:   The rifle berms have been rebuilt  and the burn pit area was cleaned  up by the range managers.  The restroom facilities were also repaired by  the range managers.      The machine gun shoot may possible be canceled this Labor Day.   The guys that put the shoot on are tired and want a break.   JCSA  is looking in to the possibility of taking over some of the work.          A new roof is needed for the indoor range.   Early estimates came in at $14,000.00.  JCSA is exploring other possibilities.  More later.

6.  Fundraiser for JCSA.       The parent club is looking into holding a fundraiser activity for next year.   They are looking for suggestions from any club member.  A chili cook off was suggested

7.  I have a copy of the Treasurers report and a copy of the minutes of the May meeting if anyone is interested.
